Barkley’s Scaffolding Services London | Scaffolding Contractors Across London, Surrey & Essex

Barkley’s Scaffolding is a privately operated London scaffolding contractor founded and run by Julie Barkley, based at 1 Carmichael Mews, Wandsworth, London SW18 — ideally positioned to serve the London boroughs, Surrey, Essex and Kent across a wide area from a single, centrally located base. The business operates with a team of fully employed scaffolders managed closely by an in-house management team, maintaining consistent quality and safety standards across every project. Safety is monitored continuously through two-way dialogue between the management team and scaffold crews throughout every job — from initial erection to final striking. Free, no-obligation quotations are provided on all domestic, commercial and industrial projects.

Scaffolding Services Across London and the South East

Barkley’s Scaffolding handles residential, commercial and industrial scaffolding projects across London and the surrounding counties — covering domestic house scaffolding for renovations and extensions, chimney stack access scaffolding using freestanding systems, commercial flue company scaffold erections, towers, new build construction scaffolding and bespoke access solutions for technically complex projects. The team advises on and resolves technical access challenges where standard configurations are insufficient, bringing the specialist knowledge that straightforward projects rarely need but difficult ones always require. All work is carried out by directly employed scaffold operatives — no labour-only subcontractors — ensuring consistent workmanship and accountability on every project.
