D&M Skip Hire: Skip Hire, Grab Hire and Recycling in Northampton

Look through our reviews and one word comes up again and again: punctual. Delivered on the booked date, collected the day after we’re asked, no chasing required. It sounds like a small thing until you’ve dealt with a skip firm that doesn’t manage it — and after more than 30 years in this business, we’ve learned that turning up when we say we will is most of what actually matters to our customers.

Family Run Across Northamptonshire and Beyond

We’re a family-run waste management company based at our own recycling centre in Northampton, and we’ve grown over three decades to cover Northampton, Milton Keynes, Daventry, Wellingborough, Towcester and Brackley. Whether you need same day skip hire, aggregate supplies, or just some straightforward advice on what your project actually needs, our team is on hand to talk it through. Staying family run has meant we’ve kept the same values throughout that growth — the people answering your call today are working to the same standards the business was built on thirty years ago.

Skips for Every Size of Job

We supply the full range: mini and midi skips for smaller domestic jobs, builders skips for renovation and construction work, larger ro-ro skips for major projects, and wheelie bins for commercial premises that need an ongoing solution rather than a one-off skip. Tell our team what you’re working on and we’ll help you land on the right size rather than the one that’s easiest for us to deliver, and if your circumstances change partway through, just give us a call and we’ll sort out an exchange or a different size.

Grab Lorry Hire

Where a skip isn’t practical or cost-effective, particularly for removing soil and hardcore or delivering aggregates, our fleet of grab lorries offers a more economical alternative. We operate them throughout Northampton and the surrounding area, and everything we collect gets processed properly back at our own recycling centre.

Our Own Recycling and Waste Transfer Centre

Unlike firms that simply pass collected waste on to someone else, we operate our own recycling and waste transfer centre, processing everything we collect in line with environmental regulations. We handle commercial, domestic and construction waste through the same facility, which means we can tailor our waste management service to whatever a particular job actually needs, rather than offering one fixed process for every customer.

What Our Customers Say

We currently hold a 4.5 out of 5 rating from 44 Google reviews, and the pattern in the feedback is remarkably consistent. One customer told us they were very happy with their skip hire, saying it arrived on the booked date and was removed the day after their collection call, adding they’d definitely use us again. Another said we delivered on time but, more importantly, collected the next day after they requested pickup, calling it great service overall. A further customer described us as very punctual, and another simply praised a good service with an on-time delivery and collection exactly when asked.

Get in Touch

Contact us to book a skip, arrange grab lorry hire, or ask about aggregate supplies. Our team can talk you through sizing and timing, and same and next-day delivery is available depending on stock.

It’s easy for a skip company to promise good service before you’ve booked. What actually shows whether that’s true is what happens after the skip’s on your drive — whether it turns up when promised, and whether it’s gone again as soon as you ask. Thirty years of reviews saying exactly that is the closest thing we can offer to proof.
