Grant Bird Tiling: Chester’s Most Reviewed Local Tiler

A five-star rating is one thing. A five-star rating backed by 165 individual customer reviews is another thing entirely — and that’s the kind of track record Grant Bird Tiling has built up over more than 25 years working across Chester, Ellesmere Port, and the surrounding area. Few local tilers anywhere can point to that volume of genuine, independently verified customer feedback, and it makes Grant one of the most consistently well-reviewed tradespeople in the region.

Whether it’s a full bathroom renovation with exacting symmetry requirements, a new terracotta floor for a porch, or a straightforward kitchen splashback, Grant Bird Tiling offers homeowners across Chester a genuinely proven, honestly priced service.

About Grant Bird Tiling

Grant Bird Tiling is run by Grant, a Chester-based professional tiler with over 25 years of experience, covering Chester, Ellesmere Port, and all surrounding areas. The business is built around honest, competitive pricing designed to suit all budgets, with both supply-and-fit and fit-only options available depending on what each customer needs.

Grant offers a full domestic project management service, ensuring the tiling, workmanship, and overall appearance of a project is kept to a consistently high standard from start to finish. Rather than simply turning up to lay tiles, this project management approach means customers get a single, dependable point of contact overseeing the whole job — a genuinely reassuring option for anyone who’s been let down by disorganised tradespeople in the past.

Having worked in the domestic tiling trade for well over two decades, Grant has fitted tiles of every size, from small ceramic splashbacks through to full stone floors, giving him the kind of broad, practical experience that comes only from years of varied, hands-on jobs across a huge range of Chester and Ellesmere Port homes.

A Genuinely Exceptional Review Record

What sets Grant Bird Tiling apart from almost any other local tiler is the sheer scale of its review history. On Yell alone, the business holds a five-star rating from 165 reviews — a genuinely remarkable volume for a sole trader operation, and one that reflects decades of consistent, high-quality work across Chester and Ellesmere Port. On MyBuilder, Grant holds 100% positive feedback, and on Nextdoor, neighbours across Chester have repeatedly recommended him by name to others in the local community.

For homeowners trying to choose between several local tilers, that combination of scale and consistency is hard to overlook. It’s one thing for a tiler to gather a handful of glowing reviews; it’s another to maintain a five-star average across 165 individual jobs over many years.
