Hot Stuff Stoves | HETAS & Gas Safe Stove Specialists & Exclusive ESSE Retailers in Hoylake, Wirral

Hot Stuff Stoves is a HETAS registered and Gas Safe registered stove, fire, and range cooker specialist based at 92 Market Street, Hoylake CH47, with over 20 years of design, supply, and installation experience across log burning, multifuel, and gas stoves, fires, and range cookers throughout the Wirral, Merseyside, Chester, and North Wales. Hot Stuff Stoves is confirmed by ESSE as the first range cooker and stove retailer in the United Kingdom to stock solely ESSE products — a manufacturer-verified distinction that reflects the depth of ESSE knowledge held by owner Gavin Scott and manager Kate Darroch, who between them have accumulated more ESSE-specific product expertise than any other retailer in the country. HETAS is the government-recognised competent person scheme for solid fuel appliance installation — HETAS registered installers self-certify compliance with Building Regulations, eliminating the need for a separate local authority building notice and providing the HETAS certificate that mortgage lenders, insurers, and conveyancing solicitors require. Gas Safe registration is the legal requirement for all gas appliance installation work, with all Hot Stuff gas installers carrying a Gas Safe ID card verifiable on the Gas Safe public register. Free no-obligation home surveys are available across the Wirral and surrounding areas, with free professional telephone and email advice available at all times from the showroom team.

ESSE Range Cookers, Log Burning & Multifuel Stoves — Hoylake & Wirral

Hot Stuff Stoves supplies and installs the complete ESSE range across the Wirral — covering ESSE wood-burning and multifuel stoves including the Ironheart, Bakeheart, Warmheart, ESSE 105, ESSE 155, ESSE 175, ESSE 500 Vista, ESSE 550, ESSE 700 Vista, and ESSE 100 Auto Blaze, alongside the ESSE range cooker collection including the ESSE CAT Gas range cooker — the same model favoured by the River Cottage culinary team and chosen by multiple Wirral customers for its combination of cooking performance and lasting heat output throughout the home. ESSE stoves and range cookers are manufactured in Barnoldswick, Lancashire — British-built to a standard that Gavin and Kate know at component level from years of exclusive retail experience. A named customer review confirms the commitment ESSE stoves inspire — one Wirral customer installed three ESSE stoves and a range cooker across her new home after owning an ESSE in a previous property, citing the look and warmth they bring to every room. The full range of contemporary and traditional log burning and multifuel stoves from leading manufacturers is available alongside the ESSE collection, with Gavin and Kate providing impartial advice on heat output, fuel type, efficiency rating, and installation requirements for every Hoylake and Wirral property type.

Gas Stoves, Chimney Work & Full Installation — Wirral CH47

Hot Stuff Stoves installs gas stoves and fires across the Wirral through its Gas Safe registered team — covering freestanding gas stoves, gas fire installations, and LPG appliances for properties without mains gas supply. All aspects of chimney work are undertaken alongside stove installation — flue liner installation, chimney pot supply and fitting, chimney repairs, and cowl installation — providing a complete single-contractor service from product selection through to commissioned and certified installation without the need to appoint a separate chimney or building contractor. Flue liner installation is required in the majority of Wirral stove installations where existing chimney flues are oversized, deteriorated, or lined with materials incompatible with the combustion gases from modern high-efficiency appliances — and Hot Stuff’s chimney capability means liner specification, supply, and installation are handled by the same team that surveyed the property and selected the appliance. After-sales support, servicing advice, and ongoing telephone and email guidance from the Hoylake showroom team ensure that every Hot Stuff installation performs to its designed specification throughout its working life.
