JRS Roofing  — Aberdeen Roofers Since 2007

JRS Roofing has been trading from Froghall Place in Aberdeen since 2007. That is nearly two decades of roofing and exterior work on this city’s properties — a trading history built one photographic quote and one completed job at a time. With over 100 customer reviews across multiple platforms, 67 on Yell alone, and 1,700 Facebook followers, JRS has accumulated the kind of verifiable track record that gives new customers real grounds for confidence before anyone gets on a roof.

The company covers new roof installations, pitched and flat roof repairs, storm damage restoration, EPDM rubber roofing, harling and roughcasting repairs, pointing, guttering, roofline products, and exterior painting — a broader combination than most Aberdeen roofers offer. The exterior painting capability is practically significant: in Aberdeen, where harling and roughcast are common external finishes on granite-built properties, a roofer who can also address the adjacent walls and woodwork in the same visit removes the need to coordinate a separate trade.

Free photographic quotes are a standard part of how JRS operates. Before any price is agreed, customers receive photographic documentation of the roof’s actual condition — so both parties are working from the same shared understanding of the problem, not just a verbal description. Review after review highlights this approach, along with quick response times, friendly service from Jim and his team, and prices that customers consistently describe as fair and reasonable.

One customer described a complicated multi-occupancy block repair involving seven property owners and Aberdeen City Council, completed ahead of schedule over three weeks, with drone photograph updates throughout. That kind of complex, multi-stakeholder job tests a company’s organisation and communication as much as its roofing skills — and JRS handled it to the satisfaction of everyone involved.
