KFS Fencing: Liverpool’s Bespoke Fencing and Gate Specialists

Not every fence problem needs a full new installation. Sometimes the posts and concrete bases are perfectly sound, and it’s only the panels themselves that have given up — a distinction KFS Fencing has built a genuine specialism around. Run by Ian and based in Huyton, the family business brings two generations and over 25 years of fencing manufacturing and installation experience to Liverpool and the surrounding areas, with a reputation built on bespoke solutions rather than off-the-shelf standard products.

Whether it’s a full new fence and gate installation, a bespoke design to fit an unusual space, or simply new panels slid into existing posts, KFS Fencing offers homeowners across Liverpool a genuinely flexible, family-run service.

About KFS Fencing — Meet Ian and the Team

KFS Fencing, trading as Kingsway Fitting Services, is a family-run business operating from the Huyton and Kirkby areas, covering Liverpool and surrounding areas including St Helens, Formby, Ormskirk, Widnes, and Warrington. With two generations and over 25 years of experience in fencing manufacturing and installation, the business prides itself on the quality of its products and workmanship, and has built a strong reputation on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor as a result.

Led by Ian, the team offers a genuinely flexible approach to fencing. Unlike firms that only offer standard, off-the-shelf products, KFS Fencing aims to cater specifically to each customer, making bespoke fencing and gates to suit individual needs, or fitting materials customers have already sourced themselves.

A Genuine Slide-In Repair Specialism

One of the things that sets KFS Fencing apart is a specific, practical repair service: if a customer’s posts and bases are already in place but the panels themselves are broken or looking tired, KFS Fencing offers a slide-in service, replacing just the panels without disturbing the existing groundwork. The team can even slide in taller panels than the originals, filling and making good the area over the posts as needed — a genuinely useful, cost-effective option that avoids the expense and disruption of a full fence replacement when the underlying structure is still sound.

Services

Bespoke Fencing

KFS Fencing offers a wide variety of fence sizes, from 1ft to 7ft high, in styles including trellis, hit and miss, feather edge, and tongue and groove, with flat, arch-up, arch-down, or the newer wave design tops. Rather than being limited to standard sizes and styles, customers can request genuinely bespoke fencing tailored to their specific garden or property.

Gates

A range of gate sizes from 3ft to 7ft high are available, in hit and miss, feather edge, and tongue and groove styles, with both flat and arch tops. Every gate comes fully framed and fitted with heavy galvanised T-hinges, a ring gate latch, and a pad bolt as standard — front gates, back gates, entry gates, driveway gates, single or double, all made to order.

Labour-Only Fitting

For customers who have already sourced their own fencing or gate materials, KFS Fencing offers a labour-only fitting service, giving genuine flexibility to those who’d rather supply their own products but still want professional, experienced installation.

Fencing on or Between Existing Walls

KFS Fencing also fits fencing on top of, or in between, existing walls, subject to a survey — a more technically involved job that not every fencing company is equipped or willing to take on.

What Customers Say

KFS Fencing holds a strong rating across multiple platforms, with customers consistently praising speed, professionalism, and fair pricing. One customer described the team measuring up at 9:30am and completing the job by 12:30pm the same day, at an excellent price. Another customer praised the team’s punctuality, politeness, and efficiency, describing concrete posts installed and damaged fencing replaced in under an hour, completed to a very high standard. A further review specifically praised Ian’s responsiveness to initial enquiries, providing an accurate and reasonable quote based on photos sent ahead of any visit — a genuinely convenient option for customers wanting a quick idea of cost before committing to a full site visit. On Nextdoor, KFS Fencing has built up 32 recommendations from local neighbours, reflecting a strong, community-based reputation built job by job over many years.
