RJT Plumbing & Tiling: Macclesfield’s One-Stop Bathroom and Tiling Specialist

Bathroom projects have a habit of getting complicated the moment more than one trade is involved. Book a plumber, then a tiler, then try to line up their schedules so the job doesn’t grind to a halt halfway through — it’s one of the most common headaches homeowners face when planning a renovation. RJT Plumbing & Tiling, run by Rob and based in Macclesfield, was built specifically to remove that headache, offering both plumbing and tiling expertise from a single, NVQ-qualified tradesperson who’s been established in the local area for more than 15 years.

Whether it’s a simple splashback, a full bathroom refurbishment, or general plumbing work anywhere in between, RJT Plumbing & Tiling gives Macclesfield homeowners a genuinely joined-up service — one person, one point of contact, and one consistent standard of work from start to finish.

About RJT Plumbing & Tiling

RJT Plumbing & Tiling is run directly by Rob, who covers all types of plumbing and tiling work across Macclesfield, Cheshire, and the surrounding area. NVQ qualified and established in the trade for over 15 years, Rob has built a reputation for taking on jobs of any size — from a single tiled splashback through to a full bathroom refurbishment involving plumbing, tiling, and everything in between.

That “no job too big or too small” approach is a genuine part of how the business operates, and it’s reflected in customer feedback that consistently highlights fast response times, clear communication, and a tidy, professional standard of work, whether the job in hand takes a single afternoon or several days.

Why Combine Plumbing and Tiling Under One Roof?

Most bathroom renovations involve pulling out old fittings, adjusting or extending pipework, and then tiling the finished space — which usually means bringing in two separate tradespeople and hoping their schedules, and their standards, line up. RJT Plumbing & Tiling removes that uncertainty entirely. Because Rob handles both trades personally, there’s no handover between a plumber and a tiler, no waiting around for the next tradesperson to become available, and no risk of one trade’s work not quite matching up with the other’s. It’s a straightforward, practical advantage for anyone planning a bathroom project, and it’s a big part of what sets RJT Plumbing & Tiling apart from single-trade specialists in the area.

Services

Full Bathroom Refurbishments

From first fix plumbing through to the final tiled finish, RJT Plumbing & Tiling can manage a complete bathroom refurbishment as a single, coordinated project. Customer feedback specifically highlights good communication throughout, with regular updates provided even when delays outside of Rob’s control — such as waiting on utility companies — have affected a project’s timeline.

Tiling: Splashbacks to Full Rooms

Tiling work covers everything from a small kitchen or bathroom splashback through to tiling an entire room, floor to ceiling. Customers consistently describe the finished tiling as clean, precise, and well-presented, with the work area left tidy once the job is complete.

General Plumbing

Alongside tiling, RJT Plumbing & Tiling covers general plumbing work, including fittings, repairs, and the pipework and installation side of bathroom projects. Combined with the tiling service, this means Rob can take a bathroom from a rough, stripped-out shell right through to a fully finished, tiled space without needing to bring in another tradesperson.

Kitchen Splashbacks and Feature Tiling

Not every job is a full bathroom. RJT Plumbing & Tiling is just as happy taking on smaller, standalone tiling projects, such as kitchen splashbacks behind a hob or sink, or a feature wall in a living space. These smaller jobs are treated with the same attention to detail as a larger refurbishment, giving homeowners a straightforward way to refresh part of a room without committing to a full renovation.

What Sets the Service Apart

Beyond the practical benefit of combining two trades, customers consistently point to a handful of qualities that keep them coming back to RJT Plumbing & Tiling and recommending Rob to others locally:

• Punctuality and reliability. Turning up when arranged and keeping to agreed timescales, even on more involved refurbishment projects.
• Honest, straightforward pricing. Free quotations are offered up front, with no surprises once the work is under way.
• A hands-on, personal approach. As a sole tradesperson, Rob carries out the work himself rather than sending a rotating team, so customers always know exactly who’s working in their home.
• Respect for the property. Reviews repeatedly mention floors, surfaces, and the wider property being kept clean and protected throughout a job, not just tidied up at the very end.

A Reputation Built on Genuine Local Reviews

RJT Plumbing & Tiling holds a five-star rating on MyBuilder, with customer reviews consistently pointing to the same strengths: a fast response to enquiries, friendly and pleasant manner on site, and work completed to a high standard with the property left clean and tidy. One customer described a bath tiling job completed within a week of first getting in touch, with the finished result described as “perfect” — exactly the kind of quick turnaround and reliable quality that keeps a small, local trades business in steady demand through recommendation alone.

Reviews also highlight Rob’s communication during more complex refurbishment projects, with regular updates provided even when a job runs into external delays, giving customers confidence that they’re being kept informed rather than left in the dark.
