We didn’t start out in waste. In 1910, we were a road haulage company, moving goods across Wiltshire with a horse and cart and, later, lorries. It wasn’t until 1975 that we moved into skip hire and waste management, building on decades of experience getting things from one place to another reliably. Half a century on, that’s still the side of the business we’re best known for, but the haulage roots explain a lot about how we operate: we understand logistics, and we don’t cut corners on getting a job done properly.

For businesses, we supply wheelie bins for mixed waste, cardboard, recycling, glass and food waste, giving you a proper ongoing waste solution rather than relying on ad hoc collections. Running an event means keeping things clean, safe and environmentally responsible, and that’s exactly what our event waste management service is built for. We help event organisers plan for waste properly rather than scrambling to deal with it once the crowds have gone home.

Our Own Yard Tipping Facility

If you’d rather not wait for a skip, you can bring your waste directly to us at our yard on a weigh-and-pay basis. We operate our own purpose-built waste transfer station to sort and screen everything that comes through, and on average we now recycle 95% of our waste intake, diverting as much as possible from landfill.

Asbestos Disposal

We can also dispose of hazardous waste, including asbestos, handled properly and in line with current regulations. It’s not a service every skip hire company is set up to offer, but it’s an important one for anyone dealing with an older property.
