S.J. Purvis Fencing Contractors is a family-run fencing company serving Newcastle, Gateshead, Morpeth, and Northumberland since 2002. With over 22 years’ experience and CSCS accreditation, we supply and install garden fencing, security fencing, commercial perimeter fencing, and gates for residential, commercial, and industrial properties throughout the North East.

From close board garden fences and picket fencing in Gosforth to palisade security fencing for industrial sites in Team Valley, we provide bespoke fencing solutions tailored to your property’s needs. Our expert fencing contractors handle everything from initial site surveys and bespoke manufacturing through professional installation and ongoing fence repairs across Newcastle and Northumberland.

Professional Fencing Services Across Newcastle & Northumberland

Garden Fencing & Domestic Fencing Installation

S.J. Purvis specializes in garden fencing for homes throughout Newcastle, Morpeth, and Northumberland. Whether you need privacy fencing for your garden, boundary fencing between properties, or decorative fencing to enhance curb appeal, our experienced contractors install durable, attractive fencing that lasts decades.

We supply and install close board fence panels (the strongest, most durable garden fencing option), overlap fence panels (cost-effective privacy fencing), feather edge fencing (premium timber fencing with superior weather resistance), picket fences (traditional decorative boundary fencing), trellis fencing (for climbing plants and partial screening), plus slatted and contemporary fence designs.

Our domestic fencing service includes professional site surveys, bespoke manufacturing to fit your exact dimensions, quality timber from leading suppliers, expert installation with proper concrete post foundations, and gates manufactured and installed to match your fencing. Every garden fence is built to withstand North East weather conditions while maintaining excellent appearance for years.

Commercial & Industrial Fencing Solutions

S.J. Purvis Fencing provides robust commercial fencing throughout Newcastle and the North East for businesses, schools, construction sites, warehouses, and industrial premises. Our commercial fencing protects property, defines boundaries, ensures compliance with regulations, and provides security for valuable assets.

We work with office premises, schools and colleges, hospitals and healthcare facilities, construction sites, warehouses and industrial units, retail parks and business parks, plus sports facilities and recreational areas. Our commercial clients throughout Newcastle, Gateshead, and Northumberland rely on our professional service, quality materials, and reliable installation.

High-Security Fencing & Palisade Fencing

For properties requiring enhanced security throughout Newcastle and Northumberland, S.J. Purvis installs specialist security fencing designed to deter trespassing and protect high-value sites. Our security fencing options include palisade fencing (high-strength, anti-climb protection ideal for industrial sites and compounds), mesh panel fencing (cost-effective security for schools, sports grounds, and business parks), steel security fencing (heavy-duty protection for warehouses, factories, and sensitive sites), plus security gates and access control systems.

We supply and install security fencing for construction sites, industrial estates in Team Valley and Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate, schools throughout Northumberland, commercial premises across Newcastle, and any property requiring robust perimeter protection.

Fence Repairs & Maintenance

S.J. Purvis provides professional fence repair services throughout Newcastle and Northumberland. Storm damage, rot, impact damage, or general wear can compromise fencing—our repair service restores structural integrity and appearance cost-effectively.

We repair damaged fence panels, replace rotten fence posts, fix broken gates and hinges, reinforce weak sections, and provide maintenance for commercial fencing. Often repairs prove more economical than complete replacement, and our experienced contractors advise honestly on the best solution for your Newcastle property.

Gates & Bespoke Fencing Solutions

We manufacture and install gates throughout Newcastle to match any fencing style—pedestrian gates, driveway gates, security gates for commercial properties, and automated gates with access control. Every gate is bespoke-manufactured to your specifications, ensuring perfect fit and consistent appearance with your fencing.
